1. Who we are

Learnovo is a study platform that turns notes into summaries, flashcards, mind maps, illustrations and audio lessons. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. If you are under 18, please read this with a parent, carer or teacher.

2. What we collect

  • Account details — email address, display name, and the study level and region you choose at sign-up.
  • Content you upload — notes, documents, images and prompts, plus the materials Learnovo generates from them.
  • Usage data — generation counts, plan limits, feature usage and basic technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
  • Billing data — handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

3. How we use it

We use your data to create your revision materials, keep your library available across devices, apply your plan's limits, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve the product. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your uploaded notes for advertising.

4. AI processing

To generate materials, the text and files you submit are sent to third-party AI providers that power features such as text generation, document reading, images and audio. They process your content only to return a result to you. AI output can be wrong or incomplete — always check important facts yourself.

5. Storage and security

Your account and library are stored on our managed cloud backend with access rules that restrict your content to your own account. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections. No online service can promise perfect security, so please avoid uploading sensitive personal information you would not want stored.

6. Retention

We keep your content while your account is active. You can delete individual items at any time from your Library. A limited record of billing may be kept where the law requires it.

7. Deleting your account

You can delete your Learnovo account yourself at any time from the bottom of your Profile page. You will be asked to confirm, because deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

When you confirm, we permanently remove your profile details, uploaded files, notes, generations, flashcards, folders, tutor conversations, usage records and your sign-in credentials from our systems. Anything you have already downloaded or exported to your own device stays with you.

Two things survive deletion: (a) invoices and payment records we are legally required to keep for tax and accounting, held by us and by our payment processor, Stripe; and (b) short-lived encrypted backups, which are overwritten on their normal cycle. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active paid plan billed elsewhere — cancel auto-renew on the Plans page first if you want billing to stop, as deletion does not create a refund for the current period.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise the deletion right instantly using the Delete account button on your Profile page, or contact us and we will respond within a reasonable time.

9. Cookies

We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as your theme. We do not use advertising cookies.

10. Changes

If we make significant changes to this policy we will update the date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app.
